Quality control

The essential aspect of the Quality Program is avoidance of delays, overruns and losses through anticipation, cooperation, communication and prevention. Once work is in place, reconstruction is expensive, redundant and time consuming, Frequently, nonconformance can be avoided through intensive training, clear and readily accessible communication and careful supervision. Quality consciousness is a top priority at every level of performance, from the laborer to the project manager to the very top level of company management.

The early implementation of the Quality Program will not result in the total elimination of nonconforming work and deviations from the drawings and specification, so there will be a continuing need for such traditional QA/QC activities as:-

  • Reporting on nonconforming work

  • Verification of Condition by Qavi’s Engineering Support

  • Verification that Nonconforming work has been corrected

  • Remedial action if nonconforming work is not satisfactorily corrected

The site quality management supervisor, along with a representative from each quality improvement team, will participate in a complete Quality Management evaluation of the construction documents.
